2006 Assessments for Charlottesville
As most of you living in the City of Charlottesville know by now, assessments came today. My assessment went up nearly $30,000 for my home, so reading over the article in the Daily Progress about a general reassessment of almost 19% wasn’t as much as a shock as opening the letter from the City.
Ah yes, nothing like City living. No wonder folks are flocking across the mountain. I recently joined the Augusta MLS system to try and keep some of my lower price range clients who can’t afford to live in the Charlottesville area, and don’t want to commute from Buckingham County.
