Charlottesville Second Quarter Market Report
We have all been hearing about falling prices, and homes on the market longer. The Charlottesville area is not falling as fast as some areas, but we are slowing down. CAAR released a report for the second quarter. One of the highlights shows that attached homes and Condos are selling at a faster pace than detached because of the price difference. Median prices are still going up, but not as rapidly, and homes are staying on the market for longer; 2669 listings compared to 1368 last year. The Daily Progress also has a summary of the article. There is more wiggle room now, and a lot more choices on the market. As for variety, that’s another story.
