Urban Habitat

Over the past weekend I participated in a very interesting competition. I was asked to represent the Belmont Neighborhood Association, on a Jury to pick finalists for this competition. The competition was Urban Habitats. The goal of the competition was to find a way to for the local Habitat for Humanity who purchased the Sunrise Trailer Court in the Belmont Neighborhood, to find a way to keep the current residents, change the land into more homes for affordable housing, as well as have homes sell at the market rate to break even. Interesting idea.
