More on Biscuit Run

“The 1,353 wooded acres known as Biscuit Run and Forest Lodge already could be subdivided into 900 lots. But if developer Hunter E. Craig gets the rezoning he has requested, those acres could hold 2,500 to 4,970 residential units in the coming years.”

The Daily Progress has another article on Biscuit Run. This one is another summary and briefly speaks about the traffic issues that will come with the development of the property. She also speaks about the housing issue. It will be a needed influx of homes on the market; hopefully it will steady the prices on homes. However, if it turns out similar to Old Trail Village in Crozet, the prices will be high. It may end up looking like another Redfields, or another suburban neighborhood. Though who am I to talk; I live in Belmont, classic suburbia from post World War I.
